The Houston Tortoise Rescue is a family-owned and operated entity that will provide a safe haven for all unwanted, injured, or displaced tortoises and turtles (and most other reptiles for that matter).

We have 40 years of extensive experience caring for and breeding many different species of tortoises, turtles, and other reptiles.

Rescued/surrendered animals will be rehabilitated if needed, and those that do not fit into our personal breeding projects will be rehomed within our network of vetted caregivers that will provide forever homes.

Our mission is to promote the conservation and assure the survival of all chelonian species.
